Library, Govt. Kaktiya P.G. College, Jagdalpur

This college has been established by the Govt. of Madhya Pradesh under Dept. of Higher Education on 01 July 1960 with Arts, Science and Commerce subjects. Right from the beginning the number of student keeps on increasing every year. In the year 1985, this college got the status of Post Graduate College and along with this classes of law at the undergraduate level has also started. At present approximately 3000 students are taking advantage of this institute. Looking at the employment perspective of the tribal students, few courses like B.Sc. Biotechnology, B.C.A. and P.G.D.C.A. have been started under self-financed scheme in 2005. This is the pioneer institute in south Chhattisgarh as far as delivering the quality higher education to the tribal students is concerned.
